El Sidenor se impone en Cueto tras remontar 22 puntos
El Sidenor Reinosa visitaba como líder al cuarto clasificado de la liga, el Daygon Santander,
un equipo que no tiene nada que ver con el del año pasado, y esta temporada es un firme candidato para estar en la Final Four de liga.
Así lo estan demostrando los resultados y también lo ha podido comprobar el equipo campurriano este fín de semana.
El Daygon se lo puso muy difícil el pasado sábado al equipo reinosano.
Los de casa mostraron un juego espectacular en el primer cuarto, anotando 28 puntos con 6 triples prácticamente consecutivos, sin que el equipo campurriano encontrara respuesta a este despliegue ofensivo.
En los primeros minutos del segundo cuarto las diferencias llegaron a los 22 puntos, en una tarde en que el Daygon parecía tenerlo todo a favor para conseguir la victoria en el encuentro.
Mediado el segundo cuarto el equipo campurriano reacciona, y es capaz de mejorar notablemente su defensa, endosándole un parcial de 16 a 4 al Daygon para llegar al descanso perdiendo 39 a 32, poniendo las cosas un poco mejor de cara al segundo tiempo.
Arrancaba la segunda parte con el Sidenor mucho más metido en el partido y más batallador, tratando de consolidar la remontada, pero el Daygon lograba mantenerse 4 o 5 puntos por encima en el marcador. La presión en defensa de los de Santander era un verdadero incordio para los jugadores del Sidenor, que poco a poco iban acusando el desgaste físico.
En los primeros minutos del último cuarto, el Sidenor se adelanta en el marcador por primera vez en el encuentro, aunque el Daygon no tardaría en volver a colocarse por delante en el electrónico.
Se llega al último minuto con un emocionante 67 a 66, y es el Sidenor con dos buenas acciones en la pintura de Daygon, el que logra hacerse con el encuentro.
Meritoría victoria ante un gran equipo, que consolida al Sidenor Reinosa como líder de la competición una jornada más. Los jugadores del Sidenor mostraron una gran actitud para levantar un partido que estaba muy cuesta arriba.
La próxima jornada el conjunto capurriano recibe el sábado al S.A.B Torrelavega, equipo que actualmente ocupa la penúltima posición de la tabla.
El domingo el Sidenor se desplazará a Reocin para jugar el partido aplazado que tiene pendiente frente al Asfín, octavo clasificado.
